Welcome to WV Remembers’ Blog

Welcome to WV Remembers.  We have constructed this blog to provide information relating to the 2018 Holocaust Remembrance Day in Beckley, WV.  This year’s event will be held on the campus of West Virginia University Institute of Technology on South Kanawha Street in Beckley, WV.  The commemoration will be held in Carter Hall at 1:00 PM on Sunday, April 15, 2018.  We invite you to join us for this very special day in remembering those who died in the Nazi genocide.  It will be a very special day, as we will be showing for the first time a video of Max Lewin, a Holocaust survivor, who recalls the horrors he experienced.
